Our Voice empowers families through a series of impactful, culturally responsive programs designed to inform, engage, and uplift communities that have long been underserved.
“Learning Together” Series
The Our Voice “Learning Together Series” or Aprendiendo Juntos consists of weekly expert-led online conversations and practical workshops in Spanish addressing important issues for students and their families. Additional key workshops and trainings (i.e., the use of technology devices, mental health resources, etc.) empower participants with tools to drive positive change. These are often coordinated through partnerships with other nonprofits and leveraged through existing public resources.
Student Professional Pipeline
Our Voice understands that the best education advocates are the students themselves, and for this reason we invest in the next generation of changemakers by offering internships and fellowships to local university students, equipping them with tools in advocacy, digital storytelling, and community engagement. Our Voice invests in career development through opportunities that further student learning, leadership, and mentorship. Focused on resource sharing, advocacy, and social media innovation, Our Voice interns and fellows actively manage an Instagram social media page, create unique content for Facebook, write and publish editorials, engage in initiatives, and are offered opportunities to interact with local and state leadership.

Facebook Online Community
The Our Voice Facebook group provides a space for open discussions about education-related issues. It engages parents, students, educators, and leaders in constructive dialogue and resource sharing. Members are invited to post directly on the site, participate, engage, create dialogue, and share information about pre-K-12, college and university. The group site offers informative news articles, free resources, recommendations and potential solutions to the education challenges we’re experiencing.
Instagram Online Community
The Our Voice Instagram page is student-centered and designed to share relevant content, including scholarship information, current events, study tips, and news tailored to the needs of high school and college students. On the page, student interns take the lead in creating, curating, and managing content, ensuring that the platform remains authentic, engaging, and reflective of the student voice.
